Biography

I'm a media reporter at The New York Times. I write about television and the Web, both for the paper and for the paper's blog Media Decoder.

Before joining The Times in 2007, I was the founder and the editor of TVNewser, the pre-eminent blog about the television news industry. I sold TVNewser to Mediabistro in 2004.

When I'm not writing, I'm posting pictures to Tumblr, traveling or singing karaoke.
